Link: The Faces of Evil was developed by Animation Magic and released for the Philips CD-i in 1993, on the same day as Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon.

Link, protagonist of the series, complains to King Harkinian that he is bored now that the kingdom is safe, to which the King replies that the peace "Is what all true Warriors strive for". A wizard named Gwonam visits the King and Link on a magic carpet and tells them that Ganon has taken over the far-off island of Koridai, further explaining that only Link can stop him. Link is transported to Koridai and shown by the wizard an island with giant stone statues known as the Faces of Evil, which he must conquer.

This is the most promoted universe in lawl, the second most promoted is SpongeBob SquarePants.

CD-I Link

In Link: The Faces of Evil, Link is seen to be similar to his canonical version, although with the ability to coherently speak and with a very childish attitude. He also appears to live in Hyrule Castle. He remarks that it is boring in Hyrule due the age of peace, but Gwonam arrives, telling him that he is the only one who can defeat Ganon, who has seized Koridai. Link then asks Zelda for a kiss, but is rejected. The young hero proceeds to go off to defeat the masters of the Faces of Evil and rescue Koridai. During his quest in the island, Zelda is kidnapped by Ganon and is put under a sleeping spell. At the end, Link fulfills his destiny by defeating Ganon, trapping him in the Book of Koridai and proceeds to awake Zelda by ringing a gong. Link once again asks Zelda for a kiss, but ends up being rejected.

Morshu is the name of the shopkeeper from the Goronu level of Link: The Faces of Evil. While Morshu only had two lines, they have become widely popular due to the infamous "YouTube Poop" video remixes, particularly the "Mmmmmm..." line. He has been affectionately named The Shopkeep by some YouTube Poop fans, mainly due to many of the reasons why the CD-i Zelda games are popular in the first place. He was featured in an FMV.
